It’s not every day that you see a hot air balloon tethered to a van, moving that van from side to side and finally crashing over several cars in a makeshift parking lot, in the middle of a field. This, however, is exactly what has happened in Russia, where a group of hot air balloon enthusiasts decided that it would be funny to tie the balloon to a van - it wasn’t and it ended quite badly.
We really have no clue as to why anybody would attempt something like this, especially considering the fact that the rope was tied to the back of the van, so if it were to be lifted into the air (though that would be highly unlikely), it would be pointing downward and none of the passengers would get to see anything (except for the ground, that is).
The moral? Just don’t tie a hot air balloon to the back of a van!
