Honda XS-1 Concept Unveiled at 2014 New Delhi Auto Expo

We begin our live coverage of the 2014 New Delhi Auto Expo with one of the most amazing concept Honda has produced in recent years. This is the Vision XS-1, a three-row minivan inside, a jacked-up crossover underneath and a coupe from the side, since it's only got two doors.

The XS-1 is a design study "which embodies Honda's vision for the future of manufacturing." A long, narrow grille dominates its design, acting like a braw for the slim LED headlights and continuing right up to the A-pillars. Hexagonal shapes make up a muscular-looking daytime running light cluster in the lower bar or the car. The side is characterized by lots of creases ending in amazing LED taillights which float off the body of the car.

"Although there is no mass-production plan for this model at the moment, Honda chose to exhibit the world premiere of this model in India, a rapidly growing market where Honda has strong ties," the Japanese automaker says about this car's production prospects.

So for now, the XS-1 is just an exciting concept which you can enjoy in our photo gallery below.
