Before they drop the full press release on us at the LA Auto Show, Honda is taking things a little closer to the full reveal of the 2013 Accord by showing us a limited edition model, as well as some interior shots from the regular sedan.

Honda has changed a few things inside, as the dash appears to feature new styling for the vents, new air conditioning controls (including a small display) and leather padding here and there for the more upmarket trim levels.

For 2013, the Civic Si will become available with a big rear wing, diffuser integrated into the rear bumper and freshly designed alloy wheels. We’ll have to wait a bit until we know for sure, but small changes in output and fuel economy will likely be announced across the range.

DARN! This sucks. No powertrain changes! I was hoping for Honda's "Earth Dreams" power train! Finally Direct Injection with dual mode engines that can act as regular OTTO cycle when you want power and Atkinson cycle when you want hybrid like MPG out of a regular engine! CVT transmission.

But NO, Honda decided to do an 'emergency refresh', yet the changes are not worth it.

You'd be smart to wait for the 2014 year of the Civic. That is when they new powertrains will come out (hopefully).
