Honda NM4 Vultus' UK Price Is Insane

When the Honda NM4 Vultus was first announced, we kind of hoped that it was going to be an affordable bike, but it looks like this particular moment was not built to fill the streets. At least, it’s not going to fill the streets in the UK, where the bike price is nothing short of huge!
Visordown reports that the price tag of the Vultus is £9,699, which is quite a lot even for the UK, where new bikes are anything but cheap. Still, £9699 makes up for €12,115 or $16,225. Even so, other (unconfirmed) reports mention that the units which have been brought in the country are already sort out so it looks like the Manga-style was a winning move, at least for a certain customer segment.
Honda NM4 Vultus uses the same parallel twin engine of the NC750 machines (a 670cc mill in the US), and this means that customers will in the end be able to save some money from the great fuel economy of the power unit, even though they’d have to ride quite a lot to make it count.

Apart from the tech specs, the NM4 Vultus boasts a radical bodywork styling which is unique in the business, inspired form the DN-01 model and Japanese anime cartoons, a 25-color LED dash, the passenger seat which can be raised to act as a backrest for the rider, and edgy, futuristic stealth bomber design for pretty much any part.

The bike is offered with a 6-speed DCT dual-clutch transmission only, unlike other motorcycles which share the same engine, for which the DCT gearbox is an option. The non-US 745cc version can produce 54 horsepower and 68 Nm (50 lb-ft) of torque, with the smaller version scoring of course, lower on the spec scale. We’ll be looking for other European prices, but don’t really expect the NM4 Vultus to show up with the same affordable prices Yamaha is marketing their new MT machines. It looks like you just have to pay big time if you want to roll in full manga style…
