The latest generation Cayenne is the first one from the German manufacturer with proper styling and proportions to its design. It sheds its predecessor’s awkward and bloated looks and now it’s one of the best looking SUVs in its class. With the aid of some ‘bolt-on’ tuner bits it can now be made to look even better and meaner.
The ‘bolt-on’ bits come courtesy of a tuning kit by German tuning specialist Hofele-Design in the form of a 14-piece bodykit. The kit includes a new front bumper with LEDs, widened wheel arches, a new bonnet with slats, side sills, rear spoiler and roof wing and a new rear bumper with diffuser. The look is rounded off by 20 or 22-inch alloy wheels finished in black or silver.
As far as engine upgrades go, the tuner supplies performance enhancements for the diesel and hybrid versions of the Cayenne. The diesel’s power is boosted from 241hp to 296hp with the hybrid getting an increase of 100hp over the standard 380hp output.
