Back in the day when Need for Speed Underground was still en vogue a couple of tuning crazes started out. In Japan, the fashion of wearing decals on your doors seems to be pretty popular even to this day, even though the rest of the world seems to have gotten past it.
The guys from Rowen Japan just released a couple of photos of their latest Z4 project and it’s looking delicious. Of course, you’d have to be a fan of extremely modded cars but even so, you can’t say it’s absolutely dreadful.

Out of the current BMW range, the Z4 is probably one of the best looking cars out there, with beautiful lines going from front to back in a complete package. Even the interior is different from the other models in the range, bringing some touches of class to the mix.

Their model, however, has little in common with the original. The Z4 you’re looking at is wearing a completely new front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, a new exhaust, new rear diffuser and LED lights all over the place. Other style changing add-ons include stripes down the sides, the aforementioned decals on the doors and the bonnet and new wheels.

The big, blue tailpipes let you know that this car shouldn’t be messed with. The price of this entire kit might also surprise you. In Japan it costs JPY720,000 which translates into roughly $7,000 at today’s rates. We don’t know if they ship, though.
