“I didn’t realize a car could spin like that. That’s amazing!” This is clearly a top 10 sentence any petrolhead wants to hear when he takes his friends for a spin. And that is pretty much what Lewis Hamilton’s team members had to say to him when he was busy doing donuts and drifting the hell out of a Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG at the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit in Weybridge the other day.
In case you’re wondering why the Formula One Ace was fooling around in Weybridge and not somewhere on the coast of California, it’s because that’s his home, sort of speak. Mercedes-Benz World is located here, and the F1 racer has not one, but five courses at his disposal. Sure, on a regular basis,  aspiring professional drivers would learn advanced skills here and would try out the best AMG has to offer.

When your name is Lewis Hamilton, you don’t just drive on the track, you own the track. Let us not forget we are looking at a person that has more race victories than any other British driver in the history of Formula One and is currently 5th on the all-time list, with 37 wins.

As we said, the video below shows the F1 driver take some of his team for a spin in Mercedes’ sports sedan. It’s an excellent opportunity to observe the master at work, although we’re sure that what seemed madness for the passengers rather meant playing around for Hamilton. Either way, we’d pay anything to be in those people place at least once in our lifetime. Who knows, maybe if you meet a Formula One champ in person you might become a better driver.
