Revealed about a week ago, the 2014 Ford Mustang US Air Force Thunderbird Edition was closely inspected by our friend over at Mustangs Daily.. Good news we might add, because now you can have a closer look at this unique musclecar as well.
Designed to resemble the F-16 Falcon jet fighters used by the US Air Force Thunderbirds, widely known as the “fastest flight demonstration team in the world”, the USAF Mustang was developed by Creations n’ Chrome and fitted with several Ford Racing parts. Modifications include a supercharger, a new suspension pack, Brembo brakes, custom navigation screen, embroidered Thunderbird elements, unique sill plates and deleted rear seats.
The vehicle comes with a VIN 0001 identification number and will be auctioned on August 1, with all proceeds to benefit the EAA Young Eagles program. Scroll below for some close up photos and head over to Mustangs Daily for more info on the project and even more pictures.
