Harley-Davidson has recently showcased their all-new Street 500 and 750 at the India Bike Week and thanks to our local buddy Faisal, we also got a glimpse of what the new H-D machines have in store for us.
A sticker on the bikes mentioned 25 and 35 kW, respectively, and this makes for 33.5 and 46.9 hp, which is rather modest, to be honest.

Such power figures could have made us raise an eyebrow with interest in case we'd be talking lightweight naked bikes, but Harleys are anything but light, truth be told.

The same source estimates torque for the Harley Street 500 to be in the 50 Nm (36.8 lb-ft), while the bigger 750 version could deliver 60 Nm (44.2 lb-ft). Nothing to write home about, either.

However, Motorbeam adds that H-D Street are allegedly designed to make good use of these modest power ratings, by optimizing power delivery for a thrilling ride. Nothing really thrilling here, aside for the fact that the MoCo seems to be moving ahead. Slowly, but moving nevertheless.
