Harley-Davidson CVO Pro Street Breakout Revealed

Having CVO, Pro Street and Blackout in the same sentence caused us to raise an eyebrow, and we're glad we did, because Harley's new machine is a thing of beauty. A thing of expensive beauty, but no really cool thing comes cheap.

Obviously, the Harley-Davidson CVO Pro Street Breakout is a derivative from the recent Blackout platform that seems to be a most welcoming one for customization jobs, especially when genuine parts from the Milwaukee catalog are being used.

With Screamin' Eagle parts being added to the build, the CVO Pro Street Breakout is a bike that promises to be a lot of fun when twisting that throttle hard. The Screamin' Eagle Twin Cam 110B mill breathes in through a conical, oversized matching open filter, proudly showing off the shiny black accents that dominate this machine.

Race-inspired elements are complemented by new dual-disc brakes and upside-down forks

Racey elements, such as the seat and handlebars add to the overall menacing looks of the bike. The inverted forks are not one of the things we're used to see in a Harley-Davidson, but we're also glad to learn that the MoCo is taking a step on the wild side.

The front brakes sport new dual discs and ABS as standard. H-D brings RbW technology to the CVO Pro Street Breakout game, even though they call it Electronic Throttle Control, and of course, this comes hand in hand with the cruise control feature.

Harley-Davidson CVO Pro Street Breakout can load 18.9 liters (just under 5 US gal) of fuel and weighs 322 kg (711 lbs) in running order. The air-cooled 1,801cc engine packs 151 Nm (111.3 lb-ft) of torque and has a 6-speed transmission.

The cool looks of the custom paint are enhanced by the 35-degree rake, and for a bike that's not exactly small or light, H-D's 5.5l/100km (42.7 mpg) sounds appealing.

In the US, base prices start at $25,699, but across the pond we spotted the Harley-Davidson CVO Pro Street Breakout in Germany with a €27,245 starting price, and his is not exactly cheap.
