Harley-Davidson's recent new roster addition, the Softail Breakout was chosen as Captain America's bike in the upcoming Marvel movie "The Winter Soldier".
We're glad to see Hollywood picking up really nice bikes and keeping them in the decency range as far as color and graphics are concerned. The poor Ducati 1199 Panigale from Kick-Ass II lost its racing red livery to a silly eggplant purple one. It may go well with the movie itself, but it looks silly.
On the other hand, Marvel Studios showed up a pretty nice Breakout at the San Diego Comic-Con, with a dash of custom trims, but still looking sober and sleek. In fact, having Captain America and Harley as two American icons in the same team is indeed very cool!
The next Captain America movie is a lovely expansion of the collaboration Marvel and Harley started earlier with Iron Man 3.
