2013 is Harley-Davidson's year: the company celebrates the 110th anniversary and everyone connected in a way of another with the Milwaukee manufacturer will feel this. Since this year will also bring some clouds to all the silver lining (Indian and Victory), H-D can't afford only merry making: there's money to be made, so here's one of their newest campaigns advertising bike rentals.
Now, the idea is simply great, as it allows to ride a nice bike in remote places, and enjoy fun times to the max. It's equally awesome for both European guys being able to tour North America on a Harley without all the fuss of sending their own machines across the pond.

Likewise, there is no need for a guy in let's say Colorado, to have his bike shipped to India just to enjoy his vacation there. Harley-Davidson has no less than 224 Authorized Rental locations in the US and Canada, some 121 more in other 18 countries, and all these are offering a huge fleet of late-model Harleys.

So far, more than 80,000 rentals have been honored, summing more than 220,000 hours of riding and covering in excess of 50 million miles (80.5 million km). If you're at least 21, have an A license and are capable to handle heavyweight motorcycles, then you're in. Each rental comes with a Harley-Davidson helmet and rain gear, short term luggage storage, and 24-hour roadside assistance. Online reservations at any participating dealer can be made 24 hours a day via the specialized H-D website.
