Hanley Ramirez Upgrades His Lamborghini Aventador with a New Pair of Rims

Remember that white Lamborghini Aventador Roadster owned by MLB star Hanley Ramirez? The Boston Red Sox baseball player got it hooked up with an additional 120 horsepower which made it spit fire through the exhaust pipe. Well, it seems it’s that powerful he now needs new rigs.

OK, maybe the reason the 820 horsepower beast is now getting new shoes has nothing to do with the power of the car, since we’re talking about changing the entire wheel, not just the tire. Either way that’s the latest refresh the car got from Alex Vega’s Miami shop, a new set of AV13 Forged wheels.

Speaking of which, we just had a little revelation. Is it just us or these baseball stars playing for the Boston Red Sox are forming quite a custom-car-enthusiast club of some sort? Take, Pablo Sandoval - a great tuning fan – who recently signed for a 100-million contract with the team. Then there’s Rusney Castillo who had his Porsche 911 Turbo S seriously pimped-up. Yoenis Cespedes also has a fire-spitting Lamborghini Aventador, only he’s not playing for the Sox anymore, but the Oakland Athletics.

As to the Aventador in question, we’ll take the time to remind you it’s just one of the many Ramirez had customized. A new 2015 Range Rover Supercharged that received a color keyed all-black finish with painted red calipers is also part of the 31-year old baseball player’s fleet. Add a Rolls-Royce Ghost, an International MXT and even a CanAm Maverick to this and you’ll get a grip of what being a MLB star feels like.

Good, now back to our regular lives…
