Chrome wraps are big in Russia, very big in fact. So much so that we’ve found a second BMW X6 wrapped in green chrome. Back in July, we brought you a clean BMW X6 M that had been hulked out in a shiny green finish.
Now, the same Russian company that specializes in car wraps, Re-Styling, has created a chrome green Hamann BMW X6. The body kit created by the German tuner creates a massively wide body, extended by 60 millimeters to make room for 23-inch multi-piece wheels.
The body kit also brings complex bumpers with lots of intakes and scoops. This proved very tricky to wraps, because chrome vinyl has to be carefully heated so as not to burn. It also stretches less than regular wraps before losing its finish.
Despite the somewhat dubious taste, the wrap itself is a jaw-dropping masterpiece. And let’s face it - the X6 was never a subtle car to begin with. Now it looks like a comic book super hero, ready to patrol the streets of Moscow.
