Gray Design Showcases Out of This World Yacht [Video][Photo Gallery]
As the "Xhibitionist" name suggests, this is no ordinary yacht. Designed with an inverted trimaran hull for stability and massive solar panels, this out if this world yacht is, as the creator claims, futureproof.
"The Xhibitionist is an intelligently designed and finely tuned instrument that was made, quite simply, to turn heads. More than that, it poses a serious option for investors when comparing to the real estate market in terms of Dollars per square foot and as a key feature in a business model literally represents a floating, working asset," said Gray Design in a press release.
From the architectural point of view, this engineering masterpiece is all about Art-Nouveau styling, gathering Cornish Stairways, Baccarat lighting and Nuance smart shading. Intrigued? So are we! Furthermore, Gray Design says the 75 meter long yacht is powered by "a choice of hybrid drive systems" which we're very anxious to find out more about. But not for a while it seems.
In addition to the yacht, Gray Design has also revealed a "matching counterpart" Xhibit G supercar. The styling is borrowed from the Xhibitionist mothership and it's supposed to be powered by a 630 HP V12 engine, and have a limited top speed of 155 mph. A low curb weight is also provided by a carbon fiber body and an all-aluminium chassis.
This is major VIP stuff, but would we get to see it in production?
