The stunningly beautiful 1969 Plymouth Road Runner you’re about to see below is set to cross the block at Mecum’s Kissimmee 2014 auction event next month.
Recently restored as a rust free car, this two-door coupe comes in an extremely rare color combination - B7 Bahama Blue with White vinyl top - as well as other rare factory features, including air conditioning and bucket seats.
Power is provided by a 383 cubic inch (6.3-liter) V8 engine, which was standard in 1969, that sends 335 horsepower and 425 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission.
According to Mecum, this Road Runner won best Mopar in the first show it was entered - the 25th Anniversary Apple Classic in Ellijay, Georgia. Guess it would make a very nice Christmas present, although the auction is scheduled to take place between January 17-26.
