Golf 7 GTI Tuned to Over 300 PS and 400 NM by HG Motorsport

Guess how many German tuners want to make a Golf 7 GTI project? All of them, because this seems to be the only hot hatch you will ever need… for the next 5 years until the next one comes out.

For now, the only major upgrade we've seen is a custom set of adjustable shocks from KW, bot nothing for the engine, not until now.

The car targeted here is the VW Golf 7 GTI Performance with 6-speed DSG. It left the factory with a claimed 230 PS and 350 Nm. However HG Motorsport took that to the next level.

Their first stage of tune takes those figures to 263 PS and 376 Nm of torque by fitting a new exhaust, air intake and playing with engine electronics.

However, by adding intercoolers and a new engine map, they've upped those figures 303 PS and 444 Nm of torque… like it was nothing.
