This next tuning project has a distinct global flavor. It's like a flying fish pizza with German sausage and Japanese ketchup on top.
The project starts out with a Fiat 500 Abarth, which is then tune by a German company called G-Tech Engineering GmbH. Not happy with simply plating with the engine, these folks chop the roof and strip every panel from the body to make their 500 Sportster. They also fit completely different front and rear bumpers, side sills and basically leave no panel line untuned.

On the inside, the 500 Sportster gets a few sporty additions, like the special Recaro sports seats, Momo steering wheel and racy stainless-steel pedals.

However, the biggest change is under the bonnet. That little 1.4-liter turbo engine can be pushed to extreme levels, with power outputs ranging from 221 hp all the way to 335 hp.

Now comes the global part. As you might have noticed, the 500 Sportster is in Japan. Its customer from the land of the rising sun wanted it in yellow with black accents, and he also opted from a set of American-made wheels. HRE was only too glad to provide a set of their P40S rims in a brush tinted clear look to complete the Abarth's transformation.
