Diehard motorists and gearheads don’t have warm feelings towards the silent EVs or hybrid vehicles, considering them soulless “toasters” that take away all the pleasure in driving, preferring to walk rather than buy one.
But what if they will look like those cool cars from ‘The Demolition Man’ in the near future? Still won’t consider having one?

Skillful industrial designer Eric Leong imagined such a car, a 2015 Toyota Prius to be exactly, and came up with a very interesting design study which you can see in the adjacent gallery.

His idea revolves around a teardrop body shape that channels air over its surface through a set of vanes. It is also a bit lower than the original Prius, which also changes the passengers’ position. Other interesting features are represented by the one piece windscreen-roof, suicide doors and the transparent side mirror supports that continue onwards to form the turn signals.
