Freshen Up Your Old Range Rover Sport With the GL-3 Dynamic Taillights by Glohh

With all its goods and bads, the first-gen Ranger Rover Sport was an important addition to the lineup. It’s 11 years old now, faded and seasoned, but if it weren’t for it, Range Rover wouldn’t have made its best-selling nameplate ever, the Evoque.

Thanks to its Land Rover Discovery 3-inspired chassis, the original Range Rover Sport is up for off-road action whenever the situation calls for it. Land Rover potential, Range Rover clothing, what can go wrong? Well, there is no denying the first-generation Range Rover Sport hasn’t aged too well.

Be that as it may, owners of 2005 to 2013 pre-facelift and facelift models can breathe new life into their beloved mid-size SUVs with the help of Glohh. The automotive lighting company is proud to present the GL-3 Dynamic taillight system, an aftermarket solution that boasts Audi-like dynamic turn signals.

Merfyn Williams, head of product communications at Glohh, explains: “Innovation is in our DNA. We are always looking to develop products that reflect our customers’ quest for the extraordinary. By fusing the latest in light technology with the distinctive GLOHH design, we are confident that buyers and fans alike will fall in love with the avant-garde GL-3 Dynamic.”

Question is, what does $898 actually buy you? For starters, maximum visual impact. The turn signals, for example, are strips of 24 LEDs. Aligned in blocks of four and controlled by a microprocessor, the turn signal sequence lasts 350 milliseconds, flowing in the direction of travel. The taillight clusters also look well and meet all ECE and U.S. Department of Transportation regulations.

According to Glohh, the GL-3 Dynamic LED tail lamps also happen to be up to 50 percent brighter than the standard units. On that note, the 6,000-kelvin true white-red optimal HID color is yet another nice thing to have, especially when compared to other aftermarket automotive lighting solutions.
