The most important thing to remember about this car is that it's going to be present, in one way or another, in all upcoming Crossovers from the Japanese automaker. You'll immediately notice the front end that has larger than usual air intakes and what looks like an elongated headlight on the sides.
At the back, the U-shape motif of the headlights is also present, making the taillights look a lot ahead of their time. The whole idea behind this car being to make it simple and straightforward, you won't find any complicated character lines or design cues.
Being a car for the future, the drivetrain will be hybrid, using a 2-liter Subaru boxer diesel engine and 3 electric motors, one at the front and 2 at the back that are used for both generating power and vehicle drive.
Actually, the engine at the front is usable as both a generator and for vehicle drive, whereas the two rear units are used for drive only, making sure you get a pleasurable experience out of you Viziv.
The new car will also be using Subaru's new 'Independent-rear-motor-driven asymmetrical AWD' system that is supposed to be one of the best in the business, sending the power to the wheels in an intelligent way.
For example, when starting from a dead halt in a city, the electric units will be used to gather momentum as they have maximum torque from the start, thus saving valuable fuel.
It all sounds good at the moment but, whether all this technology will make it to the production version or not, we'll just have to wait and see.

I like the lines and overall look, but the grille looks like flimsy plastic. Maybe a dark black color to match the headlight trim.
