The dedicated Mercedes tuners at Brabus have been working hard to make this year's Frankfurt Motor Show the best one ever and they've pretty much cracked it. It must have taken a lot of nights in front of the leather sowing machine, but when you're working with the sexy new E63 AMG S-Model, it's not hard to be inspired.
Brabus calls this car the 850 6.0 Biturbo, and that's because they've increased the displacement of the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 to 5,912cc. The result of this and careful engine tuning is 850 horsepower, 50 more than the Brabus 800 E V12 they built a couple of years ago.

In typical Brabus style, they took AMG's engine and changed almost everything about it: new intakes, exhaust, turbos with larger compressor and ECU remap.

Those 850 hp are couple to 1,450 Nm of torque and sent to the fist 4MATIC system in an AMG E-Class via a seven-speed transmission. Performance? Be afraid, be very afraid: 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.1 seconds and the top speed can be as high as 350 km/h (217 mph).

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
