Volkswagen clearly has bigger plans for the Up than even we imagined, as they brought over not only the production version of the car which will hit European roads soon, but also a number of interesting concepts, among them being the Up Azzurra Sailing Team Concept.
This exclusive concept was created by Italian designers Giorgetto Giugiaro and Walter de Silva. The car has been themed to look at home next to a millionaire's Mediterranean villa and has plenty of soul and character as a result.

The interior of the car is completely open and allows everyone to see its a number of high tech but luxury materials that are all completely waterproof, and intentionally resemble the fittings of a luxury yacht. The four seats are covered in white-blue leather and the dash is made of mahogany with maple wood inlays. Its surfaces are coated in a synthetic resin for added resistance.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
