Ford Racing Parts has announced that the 2011+ Ford Mustang GT 5.0-liter 4V VCT production aluminum engine block without piston squirters is now available for order.
Made from low pressure cast 319 aluminum, the engine block features pressed-in thin-wall iron liners, cross-bolted nodular iron main bearing caps and 11mm cylinder head bolts. The bore size is 92.9 mm and the kit also includes dowels and plugs. The kit can be had for $1,399 and should keep a few Mustang and racing enthusiasts quite busy.
