Ford Product Development Chief Receives Engineering Award

Kuzak oversees all the global operations that support Ford’s product development. He is responsible for a team that dedicates its efforts to efficiently developing and placing the automotive producer’s products on global markets.

Before becoming Vice President, Global Product Development in 2006, Kuzak, was vice president, North America Engineering, a job where he was in charge of all North American Vehicles’ engineering and supervised the development of platform sharing components.
Kuzak previously served Ford’s European arm, holding multiple important product development management positions related to the design and engineering of light commercial vehicles.
He was born in Detroit in 1951 and graduated from the University of Detroit, with a B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. Later, the same institution awarded him a doctorate in Systems Engineering. His career at Ford started in 1978.
