Ford Offering Mustang GT 5.0 V8 as Crate Engine

The return of the 5.0 Mustang has made it to the automotive history books as one of the greatest events in the history of modern pony cars.

In other words, both the public and the media were more than happy to become friends with the new 5.0 liter four-valve Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) V8 powerplant that delivers 412 hp and a maximum torque of 390 lb-ft.

Now, Ford Racing is offering automotive enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy the engine without the whole package. The company is offering the Mustang GT’s 5.0 l V8 as a crate engine on its website.
