I Want to Drive!... Even if my financial situation is a bit far from tying up with that of my colleague Bach, you probably already know I'm not actually poor either. And that's just to be modest. Yet, I don't like helicopters and I only use planes if I really have to. I'm a fan (age ... Continue reading >

Ford has released a new video footage presenting a photo shoot of the new Ford Focus RS. The clip shows some photographers taking “interesting” pictures of the car, preparing it for the session. This hapends after the release of official phots, a few days ago.

The new Ford Focus RS has a 2.5 liter five-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 296 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The RS reaches 62 from standstill in 5.9 seconds and top speed is 155 mph. It will be quite a killer because 300 hp in a small car like the Focus makes a brute out of it. Ford gave the engine a new cylinder head and gasket, special camshafts and a new intake and manifold system. There are rumors that the 5 cylinder powerplant even received a little chip tuning.

To try to control that huge amount of horsepower, Ford equipped the new model with a complex front suspension dubbed RevoKnuckle. Next to that, the RS features a Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing limited-slip differential, a lowered ride height, and bigger brakes.

The outside of it looks really hardcore and it means business with all the hot hatch goodies such as a black grille, hood vents, a rear spoiler and diffuser, dual exhaust, and 19-inch wheels. The inside is garnished with Recaro seats with body-color accents, carbon fiber trim on the center console, and an aluminum gearshift.

The paintwork is a traditonal Ford color, the Performance Blue, seen on every fast car that they make. This isn't the only color that it is available because the RS comes with a choice of either Ultimate Green and Frozen White in case you don't want the blue.
