Bimmerpost brings a very interesting story to our attention of a man and his passion for three racy stripes. The online publication was contacted by designer Jason Phillips, who has created a very special BMW M coffee table. And don’t worry, no BMWs were hurt in the making of this piece of furniture.
Finished in the colors of the M division and built in a tree-compartment/leg design, the table should adorn the living room of any proud M3 or M5 fan. “Bavarian Motor Works is the German automobile, motorcycle and engine manufacturing company more commonly referred to as BMW. If you are a fan, then this table needs no introduction. Although BMW has been around since 1916, their motorsport and performance division was born in the mid 1980s. The emblem has become iconic...almost 'cult-ish',” the designer says.
Despite some people considering this to be a bit of a heresy, we find it to be a great idea. Every dealership should have one to remind people they shouldn’t go for the diesel yet.
