Focus Electric to Star in "Plugged In" Yahoo! Reality Competition Series
Long story shot, you will be give a set of challenges in your home town, which involve you driving around from place to place in a Ford Focus Electric. Local celebrities will send the different teams various assignments via video, text or audio through the car’s Sync with MyFord Touch system
“Ford is launching the Focus Electric on Yahoo!, once again recognizing the power and reach of the Web as we continue to rely more on digital media,” says Matt VanDyke, director, U.S. Marketing Communications for Ford. “The electric vehicle market will grow over time, so we electrified our popular small-car platform with a targeted online campaign instead of creating a one-off vehicle with huge ad budgets.”
This will be an online show, and the official schedule will be announced within a couple of weeks. Casting is currently underway in cities like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Seattle, Austin, Atlanta, Boston or North Carolina.
