Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God! We finally get a proper close-up with the new Batmobile, and it’s amazing. But what made Warner Bros. take such a decision? After all, the superhero’s supercar regularly keeps everybody excited about an upcoming movie. Well, they did it, and it’s not only the pictures they’ve just released, but they even offered us a couple of details on the car’s enhancements.
We’ve seen the exterior before, but the interior sure makes for a proper DC Comics Batmobile. According to the filmmakers, the new vehicle is powered by "an unmatched hybrid of prototype military and civilian performance technologies." For a 20 ft (6m) long and 12 ft (3.6 m) wide hero car, the new B-ride is a 7,000 lbs (3,175 kg) dark machine that is allegedly able to reach speeds of up to 205 mph (329 km/h).

The Batmobile’s imposing defense capabilities, supported by stolen Wayne Industries technologies, have been integrated with the latest in covert military grade armaments, stealth and active protection systems,” is how the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice creators are describing the new hero car. Although we’re not sure we should call the vehicle a hero car, considering we still don’t know how exactly the plot looks like.

An impressive line-up

Who’s the villain? Who’s saving the day? And most importantly, who will win this never-before-met aversion? We do know, however, that Henry Cavill plays Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck is going to envision Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel and many others.

In case you wondering, the Batmobile reveal was one of Warner Bros. showcases the filmmakers have shown at this year’s Licensing Expo 2015 in Las Vegas. The fair opened Tuesday and serves as an introduction to the crush of toys, games, books, clothes and other related merchandise.

P.S.: The studio also offered the first official plot synopsis and it looks like this: “Fearing the actions of a god-like superhero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”
