Fiat Viaggio - Spotted Driving in Italy

Despite not having a clear launch date (or one at all), Fiat’s Viaggio was spotted on the roads of Turin, Italy, last week. It would be the first Fiat saloon sold in Europe in a long time, and a welcome addition to the three Fiat-badged cars currently sold.

Being spotted on European soil is a clear indication that Fiat are serious about bringing it ‘back home’. Judging by the pictures, the car seems identical to the Chinese version, so we aren’t expecting the hypothetical Euro version to be any different when it finally arrives.

We’ll keep you up to date, but so far, information on the Viaggio is quite sparse, however, as we’ve stated before, we’d really prefer the much better-looking Dodge Dart to be imported to Europe, as it would definitely appeal to a lot of people, with its American-ish styling, Euro engineering and excellent 1.4-liter turbocharged engine.
