We still can’t say if this is also going to be a Fiat car for the European market, but one thing is for sure - their new Viaggio sedan based on the Dodge Dart is quite the looker.
These are the first couple of images of the whole car, released by the automaker ahead of the sedan’s debut at the Auto China 2012 otherwise known as the Beijing Auto Show.
The first thing we noticed is that wile the changes aren’t radical from, it’s enough to make this a Fiat. The taillights are not connected, the fog lights are different and so is the fascia.
We don’t think Fiat would bother to do this if they weren’t going to bring it to Europe, but it might overlap with the new Alfa sedan.
The Viaggio will for now only be produced in China with Fiat’s new local assembly partner GAC. It will hit the market in the third quarter, powered by a 1.4L T-Jet with either 120 or 150 hp.
