The newer versions of the 500 and Fiat-badged Chryslers are getting all the attention recently, so the rest of the Italian carmaker’s range needs a little booster seat to see over the steering wheel right now. The slow-selling Bravo only managed to sell 44,850 units last year, while the segment leader, Volkswagen's Golf, enjoyed sales of 501,671 units.

While Marchionne has brave plans for the future, until the Bravo is replaced with the expected crossover in 2013, it will have to carry the sales flag for the time being. So the compact model has just received a new version, called MyLife, coming with some minor styling touches and better equipment levels to attract European customers.

Fiat Bravo MyLife models are available in two colors, Distinct Grey and Superb Red, and come with glossy black finish for the upper and lower grilles, B-pillars and fog light framings, new 16-inch two-tone wheels, plus chromed door handles and grille borders.

Standard interior equipment includes Fiat’s Blue&Me infotainment system with Instant Nav satellite navigation system, Bluetooth phone connectivity and USB ports for your music device needs. Also standard are manual air conditioning, 6 airbags, ESP with Hill Holder function, fog lights with cornering function, leather covered steering-wheel and gearshift lever, plus electric windows.

Prices in Italy have been announced at €14,900 for the 90 hp 1.4-liter petrol-burner. When combined with the Power Plus offer, the model equipped with the 1.6-liter 120 hp diesel is offered at €17,600. Other engines available for the Bravo MyLife include the 1.4-liter T-Jet with 120 horsepower and the 1.4-liter Multiair Turbo with 140 horsepower and standard Start&Stop system.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
