What happens when two former Pininfarina designers join forces? As you can see in the adjacent images, the result is everything but disappointing. Italians Alessio Minchella and Alessandro Camorali (surface and product development) met while working at Pininfarina, and have decided to form a new company dubbed Camal, coming in the context of 3D modeling and product development.

The Torino-based company has already presented its first project, which come in the form of a retro-sports styled Fiat 500. The project goes by the name of 500 Marcia Corta (Italian for ‘short gearing’) and is still in a concept form.

The aggressive bodykit comprises of new front and rear bumpers, sideskirts, spoiler, and the competition-style quad spotlight pod.

On paper, this exciting new project keeps the the Fiat 500 esseesse’s 160 hp, 1.4 litre turbocharged engine alone, but it has its exhaust upgraded.

However, Camal is looking for partners for production and distribution of their Fiat 500 Marcia Corta, which takes inspiration from the classic Abarth models and retro rally cars.

“Marcia Corta is a special design kit developed to express at best the soul and the uniqueness of the old Fiat Abarths combined with the new Fiat 500 coolness,” Camal explains. “Our intentions is to give the enthusiast a product that instantly can bring back our minds to the great glory of the old hardcore rally championships,” the company continues.

Supposing you’re a wealthy investor looking for spending money on a project as intriguing as the Camal’s Fiat 500 Marcia Corta, you can help the two talented designers turning this concept to production form. Feel free to use the contact details from this link.
