The Fiat 127 was a supermini made by the Italian automaker between 1971 and 1983. It was produced in 1971 as a replacement for the Fiat 850. The 127 went out of production in 1983, when it was replaced by the Fiat Uno.
Now, the Fiat 127 has been adapted to modern days by a talented designer named David Obendorfer. He managed to keep the important lines and characteristics of the 127 mini, and created a very appealing modern reinterpretation.
This could be like a big brother to the Fiat 500 if the Italian automaker should adopt David’s idea and plan to manufacture it. The engineers don’t even have to start with a blank sheet, as they could build it on an existing platform. This could be as great as the Fiat 500, but unfortunately the automaker is going through some financial problems now, so we won’t see this concept becoming real too soon.
