Ferrari may have found customers for all 499 examples of the LaFerrari, but it seems that their halo car craze has not exactly ended. The Prancing Horse used the Geneva Motor Show to explain that they’re planning another vehicle of this kind.
Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo told autocar that certain customers complained that they would’ve liked to own such a special Ferrari, but couldn’t get their hands on one. Ferrari’s boss added that the automotive producer is preparing something for them.
"Many customers were disappointed not to be able to own a LaFerrari, but we expect to have something special to offer them soon,” di Montezemolo was quoted as saying by the aforementioned source.
Ferrari has been open to quite a large number of new possibilities lately. Besides developing the hybrid LaFerrari, the Italians have also returned to turbocharging. Ferrari introduced the California T at the Geneva Motor Show.
Nonetheless, the special Ferrari di Montezemolo was talking about isn’t too likely to use forced induction. At least for the moment, natural aspiration is seen as the propulsion of choice when it comes to thoroughbred Italian supercars, so we are expecting the future model to follow this path.
