It's a very rare thing these days to find a car at least 20 years old with the odometer showing under 1,000 original miles. But this Prancing Horse built in 1989 is as pristine as a one may find a Testarossa.
Despite its high price and exotic Berlinetta design, the Testarossa Type F110 is one of the most-produced Fezzas ever, with about 10,000 units built between 1984 and 1996 in Testarossa, 512 TR and F512 M flavors. The Pininfarina-designed model is one of those classic Ferraris that don't command absurd selling prices nowadays. Just look at that dramatic 78-inch (1,976-mm) wide rear end!

Aside from the eye candy, this is one of those proper Ferrari models, fitted with a manly stick shift gearbox to row gears as you please. If you're a fan of the breed, then you know what kind of mechanical masterpiece propels this Rosso Corsa beauty with quirky 1980s pop-up headlamps. A 5-liter twelve-cylinder engine with 380 horsepower at its disposal and Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Yup, this was a great successor for the legendary 512 Berlinetta Boxer.

On the inside there's tan leather upholstery and a dashboard wrapped in high quality brown leather. It's a one owner car from new, when it cost $115,000. In his 25 years of ownership, the owner has done only 95 miles with it, so this Testarossa is basically a time capsule on 10-inch wide rear alloy wheels. What's more, the seller offers the original books, tool kit and bespoke luggage set he got with the Fezza.

Anyway you look at it, this Ferrari Testarossa is an unrepeatable opportunity to acquire the finest, all-original factory example of the Italian supercar. If you're planning on bidding for it, be advised that specialists estimate it will sell for at least $200k on August 15th, at RM Auctions' Monterey event.
