As you can see from the adjacent images, this 1995 Ferrari F512M suffered quite a lot of damage. So, what happened to this (once) fine example of the last Testarossa incarnation?
The vehicle was being driven by 53-year old businessman Joerg Daecher, who was returning home last Friday, with the accident taking place in a forest located in Eschershausen, Germany.

The man told the police he saw a hedgehog that was crossing the road and wanted to make everything he could in order not to hit the animal. Thus, he made a sudden maneuver and lost control, hitting the guardrail. Neither the driver, nor the hedgehog were hurt in the crash, but we really can’t be saddened by the pain suffered by the classic supercar.
