Ferrari Enzo Replica for Sale at $800,000

We’ve seen some crazy prices for replicas, but this time things have gone extremely far, as this add might be the biggest joke of them all. We’re talking about a car dubbed “the 2010 Ferrari Enzo prototype” which was built and designed by Dimitris Papanagnou from Greece.

According to the sale ad on eBay, the replica has an Audi 3.7-liter V8 which produces 300HP in Stage I, 500HP in Stage II and 900HP in Stage III. The car has all-wheel drive and was apparently built using “materials as carbon fibre - aluminium - and iron titanoum alloyed tubes.”

The Enzo wannabe measures 4,800mm in length, 2,144mm in width and 1,240mm in height. The car has 19-inch alloy wheels on 255/35 ZR19 Pirelli tires at the front and 335/25 ZR19 at the rear.

The ad also states that the car is still a work in progress and that it is 97 percent complete, though it doesn’t look that way. According to the designer, there should only take five or six weeks of dedicated work for the car to be ready.

At first glance, this car is not that bad. We like cars and we like people who decide on spending as much money and time as Dimitris Papanagnou spent building this one. But posting a short description, a few small pictures and asking $800,000 is just plain crazy.

Just after browsing eBay for a few seconds we found a 2003 Ferrari Enzo with 9,000 miles on board for $998,000 or best offer, and we’re talking about the original.
