Being a celebrity surely has its perks, even if you are only famous on a local level. However, when something bad happens to you or your belongings, everyone finds out.
This is the case of Li Yifeng, a Chinese actor and singer. He is also a Lamborghini owner, and was ranked 9th on the 2015 Forbes Chinese Celebrity list.

Unlike other celebrities and accidents involving their vehicles, Mr. Yifeng did nothing wrong with his car except for a questionable matchy-matchy, white-on-white customization.

Instead, Yifeng’s girlfriend unintentionally came into the spotlight as she crashed his Lamborghini Aventador Roadster into the back of a Mercedes-Benz GLA.

As Car News China reports, the accident happened in Beijing last weekend. According to the news story, the fender bender took place on the Third Ring Road in Beijing.

Unfortunately, the cause of the accident is unknown, but it looks like the driver was not paying attention to traffic and plowed into the car ahead of the Lamborghini.

Fortunately, nobody was injured, except for the young lady’s ego, as she was photographed next to the crashed Aventador Roadster by onlookers.

By the look of the accident, the front bumper, hood, and headlights are damaged. Depending on the speed the Lamborghini was traveling at the time of impact (probably not too fast, considering the visible destruction) other components might also be affected.

The same Chinese news site reports that the lack of license plates on the Lamborghini might lead to a claim denial from the insurance company, but we are not sure they were not removed after the accident to avoid embarrassing the locally-famous owner of the vehicle.

Lamborghini launched the Aventador Roadster as a 2012 model, and it comes with a 6.5-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine. The car only comes with a seven-speed automated gearbox, and can sprint from o to 62 mph in just three seconds. Top speed is rated at 217 mph (349 km/h).
