You don't really need a calendar anymore to know each day it is if you keep track of Faraday Future's teasers and know how to count because every 24 hours, the US-Chinese startup releases a new teaser image.
The first one (you can see all three available at this moment in the gallery to the right) focused on the front end, viewed from the side. The second showed us the car's rear and gave us a glimpse at the mirrorless side profile. Finally - for now -, the third one does the same with the front, confirming what the picture two days ago suggested: the daytime running lights are an LED band that stretches from one side to another.

At a first glance, we'd be tempted to say this looks more like a concept car - or at least an advanced prototype - and not a production-ready vehicle, and yet none of the things we see is undoable. Besides, Faraday Future made it very clear it plans to rock the boat with its first car, so we should expect something extravagant.

The only real issue right now are the side mirrors, but that's something they can fix in notime. The fake, illuminated grille encompassing the company logo is nothing compared to what Mercedes-Benz's Generation EQ had on its nose, even though that was indeed a concept car. And you have to admit that integrating the logo in that pattern is quite clever.

Another thing that caught our eye is that glowing disc you can see on the EV's hood. That's not a visual artifact, but a retractable LIDAR system. That means Faraday Future's vehicle will come equipped with self-driving hardware. It also means it will have a bulging cylinder on its hood every time it drives on its own, but we guess it beats mounting it on the roof.

Faraday won't be able to keep this rhythm for long as the car is scheduled for a January launch at CES, which means it's still about four weeks away. Releasing 48 teaser images without basically showing the entire car piece by piece would be impossible, so maybe it's best to hang on to that calendar after all.
