FAB-Design SLR Desire Rolled Out with Photos and Details
Before rushing into technical details, you should know that in order to get as much power as possible, the folks over at FAB-Design replaced certain parts with carbon fiber materials, similar to those used in Formula 1, as the manufacturer claims in a press statement.
"The result is a considerable improvement of driving dynamics and, thus, also of the driving safety at high and peak speeds which the FAB-Design "Desire" will reach in the twinkling of an eye thanks to its enormous engine performance."
The first things you'll see when comparing the standard and the aftermarket models are the redesigned front and rear fenders, the side skirts, the rear diffuser and the wing, with every single part particularly aimed at improving aerodynamics and thus improving the overall performance figures of the car.
And because we're already talking about the engine performance, the improved powerplant generates a maximum power of 750 hp and 1,080 Nm of torque. The aftermarket model is capable of sprinting from a standstill to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, with top speed of 310 km/h (196 mph).
Unfortunately, there's no chance to get one of these cars because FAB Design limited the production to 15 units, with all models already delivered to buyers across the world.
