F10 BMW 5-Series Gets Frozen Transparent Wrap for Protection [Photo Gallery]

Driving around in an expensive German luxury is probably quite cool in Russia. With all those old bangers on the road, you’ll get a lot of attention behind the wheel of the latest BMW. But due to road works and winter damage, Russian highways are filled with little bits rocks that will damage your paint and leave it looking all tired in a couple of years.

One F10 BMW 5-Series owner decided something must be done to protect his precious paint and went to Re-Styling for a bit of clear vinyl. But after viewing the catalog of wraps they had on offer, he decided to do something else to his car.

Instead of simple clear vinyl, he went for some matte transparent film that gives an effect identical to that of BMW’s own frozen paint. So now, not only is the paint protected from rocks and the sun, but it also looks as cool as a much more expensive option.
