Sidecars are pretty dangerous when ridden at high speeds, but probably this is just the right reason for the brave and a bit crazy chaps who race in the Sidecar TT in the Isle of Man.
Now, as skilled as these fellows and their team mates are, things still go wrong every now and then. And knowing how dangerous and how unforgiving the Snaefell circuit is, seeing this rider launched from the sidecar into a wall and walking away is one damn rare thing.
It looks like the rider went into the bend a bit too hot and decided to make a fast decision between hitting the wall full-on and braking hard. While the latter decision was obviously the best one, the day could still have ended in a bad way.
PS: Is it legal to have "too hot" and "Isle of Man TT" in the same non-negative sentence?
