But there is a distinct lack of aftermarket parts for the Twingos, Clios and Meganes, especially when you compare the offering for Audis or VWs. But the German tuning firm Elia has revealed a whole bunch of parts for parts for both the facelifted 2012 Twingos and the Megane coupe.

For the subcompact, Elia has come up with a sports suspension kit that lowers the Twingo's ride height along with a new set of 17-inch alloy rims. A body kit will soon also be launched, together with some performance upgrades.

As for the Megane, Elia enhances this with a scissor door kit that will set you back €1,449 including VAT and can also be fitted to the RS.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
