They say wisdom comes with old age... watching this video really makes us wonder whether in the particular case of this Russian scooter rider, the old age came alone.
While most riders would not even welcome aboard a bike a passenger wearing at least a motorcycle helmet, this guy has no helmet himself. Such an unsafe habit is met all over the globe especially among scooter riders, and it is also one of the main causes of fatal crashes.
Even more, the guy shows a deadly combination of speeding, insufficient braking skills and lack of traffic awareness. We're really surprised to see that these two are still seemingly alright: given the dynamics of the crash and the absence of the helmet, we might have seen a truly ogrish sight with severe injuries and possibly death.
And we say this not because we're looking for terrible crashes, but because we have already seen some fatalities occurring pretty much the same way. Wear a helmet and ride safe!
