Not only did they change the car’s overall appearance, but they also had their say under its hood. First off, the car has a wider body and the steel body panels have been replaced with carbon fiber components. Moreover, various aerodynamic parts were added, such as a carbon fiber front skirt and a carbon fiber rear diffuser. Rounding off the look are the new 20 inch wheels.
Inside, the car boasts refined dashboard, center console, headliner, door panels and seats, with the customer opting for an Alcantara/leather interior with carbon fiber inserts and metal accents. A high-end audio system has also been installed.
Performance wise, the engine on the newly built DBS has been tweaked to develop 550 hp instead of 470 hp, allowing the car to reach a top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h) instead of 183 mph (295 km/h).
Furthermore, a new exhaust system featuring butterfly valves was fitted, made from stainless steel and the chrome exhaust tips. Finally, a new sport suspension and high performance brake pads and braided stainless steel brake lines were added for improved driving dynamics.
While the guys at edo are keeping the price of such conversion a secret for the moment, they did took the time to brag: “The result: A happy, very satisfied customer and a big thanks to the entire edo competition Motorsport team,” a company statement reads.
