Guitar World magazine named Van Halen’s “Eruption” solo the 2nd greatest ever. Heck, they made musical games after the name of the band he founded. But for a rock star that popular, it appears people don’t really care much for the cars he drove. Sure, we are talking about one of Ferrari’s weaker links in their long line of superb exotics, but still.
The car comes with less than 10,000 miles on the clock and has been kept under wraps for many years. Finished in a Grigio Metallic color (which normally you’d call grey) the Ferrari 348 is powered by an 3.4-liter V8 naturally aspirated engine. The supercar is sitting on some old-school Pirelli PZero tires and comes with custom features that include some nice tinted windows and a specially-designed audio system.

Since we’re talking about a car that was reportedly owned by a rock legend, it’s only natural it comes with some memorabilia along. The buyer will get a couple of collectables any fan would love to have, things such as a February 1990 issue of the Guitar World magazine, where Eddie was named player of the decade, a Van Halen DVD “Live without a net” and a Guitar Hero-Van Halen Edition package.

The best part? Whenever you’ll be driving this puppy on the street and a bad motorist will get too close to your beauty you’ll hit the Van Halen striped horn button. It won’t sound like an electric guitar, but it will at least remind you what of the rock star driver you now are.

Everything sounds just perfect, apart from the fact that nobody really wants the car. At the moment of writing this, there were a bit over 2 hours left for the bidding on eBay and up to this point the reserve was still not met. Is this Ferrari that bad?
