Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Keeps Getting Supercar Gifts, but He Can’t Drive Them

They don’t call him The Rock for nought, just as a random nickname someone gave him - Dwayne Johnson really is a big fellow. At 6 ft 5 in (1.95 m), the 43-year-old actor is often seen doing pop-up night sessions at the gym; this guy lives for sports. Most likely, he also loves all things supercar related, but even though sometimes sports car makers send him rides, he just won’t fit inside them.

A couple of days ago, he posted a picture with one of only 25 matte white Ferrari LaFerraris that populate this planet. The hypercar is valued at around $3.5 million, but for The Rock, this is yet another Prancing Horse he can’t ride. Its mid-rear mounted 6.3-liter V12 engine produces an impressive 800 PS at 9,000 rpm and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque. Add a 163 PS KERS unit that provides short bursts of extra power, and you’re looking at a rocket on wheels that’s based on some of the best technology available in the industry.

Johnson received a Ferrari LaFerrari as a complementary lease. The vehicle will most likely be one of the cars starring in season 2 of Ballers, but fans will never see the actor driving it.

Less than 24 hours after taking delivery of the LaFerrari, Dwayne poses next to yet another exotic, a GTA Spano. Just like the actor put it, "daddy won’t fit" in this one either. The actor, who is also producing the show, has said the fact that they took the effort to send it all the way from Spain will assure it a proper place in the series.

For those who haven’t heard, Valencia, Spain, is where they put the pieces together to create this supercar. Manufactured by GTA Motor, a sister company to GTA Motor Competicion, the rear-mid engine beast was first released to the public in 2008, when the model was presented as a concept.

The latest version of the car (which is probably the one The Rock stands next to) comes with an impressive 900 bhp engine.
