Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Calls His Ford Truck Black Horse

At first, we thought the Lamborghini Aventador he posed next to a while ago was not just there for his character in Ballers, but now we know Dwayne the Rock Johnson is a truck guy. It may be because of how Ford’s heavy trucks handle and the power they come with, but we’re sure it also has something to do with the actor’s size.

To be honest, about a year ago, the pro wrestler said it himself, most of the supercars and sportscars out there just won’t fit his size.

“570 horsepower of brilliant Italian engineering + 260lbs of Samoan Black Silverback = another fine ride I don't fit in.” And this was the Ferrari 458 while in the HBO series he was seen handling a Lamborghini Aventador, which is not a lot different when it comes to the interior.

A Ford truck, now that looks a lot more like what a big fellow like The Rock would drive. After all, the 43-year-old actor has wrestling running through his veins, and it’s only normal that everything about him remains as manly as possible. He may have started off as a college football player, but he became a professional wrestler just like his grandfather, Peter Maivia, and his father, Rocky Johnson.

Speaking of which, did you know The Rock was originally billed as “Rocky Manivia”? and he also is quite good at it. As of September 2015, he has had seventeen championship reigns in WWE, including ten as a world champion, winning the WWF/E Championship eight times and the WCW/World Championship twice.

To properly introduce his blacked-out Ford truck, Johnson chose Johnny Cash’ famous "When the man comes around" song quoting a couple of lyrics on Instagram. Since we consider this one of the famous artist’s best songs, we may as well think The Rock is calling his truck Black Horse for a good reason.
